Sandi Fulcher

Sandi Fulcher is both a Mat Pilates and Studio Equipment Certified Pilates Trainer as well as a RYT Yoga Instructor and Master Yoga Certified Practitioner.  She has been teaching both Yoga & Pilates for the past 10 plus years.  Sandi teaches in both Palm Desert and in Idyllwild spending half the week each week in the Desert and the other half in the mountains.  When she is not teaching Yoga or Pilates, she is scooping ice cream at the Idyllwild Ice Cream and Jerky Store which she owns with her husband, Jim.

Sandi’s background as a psychotherapist, MFT, and University Lecturer greatly impact her teaching style.  She sees both Yoga and Pilates as a means to grow stronger and healthier and to heal parts of our body that have been impacted by injuries, aging, poor posture and body mechanics.  Joseph Pilates created Contrology/Pilates as a rehabilitive practice to heal many different parts of the body, to target the small stabilizing muscles that help to control correct movement  as well as to reform the body so that anyone at any age can benefit from this practice and then take this knowledge into all other physical activities and body mechanics.
